Tulalip Remembers 1855-1938_Kate Borst

Kate was the daughter of Beaver John, a Snohomish Indian
In 1919, members of the Snohomish Tribe were in Seattle
for the launching of a steamer ship named “Snoqualmie”.
Kate, the niece of Chief Patkanim, had the privelege of
christening the ship with a bottle of champagne.
